I like the concept, I love the food, I appreciate David Chang brings white people's attention to minorities communities' food and culture, introducing them more than just themselves, despite of sometimes he doesn't make sense. ALL FOOD ARE BEAUTIFUL!
Trying to hard to get everything in (sufferings from patriarchy and toxic masculinity, influences from MLK and the civil right movements, childhood trauma, alcoholism, motherhood, spirituality, and even a little touch of feminism), leading to a very disconnected story.
